A 41-year-old New York man was arrested, after blocking the driveway of a Teaneck woman, and then grabbing her phone and taking off. The victim is a New York state official who was involved in a ruling that hurt the man’s business.

A 25-year-old was fatally struck on his motorcycle in Little Ferry. The victim was on Bergen Turnpike when he got hit by a minivan making an illegal turn. He died from his injuries at the hospital.

A rogue garbage truck crashed into three parked cars at a home on on Eagle Avenue in New Milford. According to police, the truck took off down the street after the driver got out to help load garbage.

Soraia Mendes was been chosen as the first principal of Newark School of Architecture & Interior Design, a new trade high school in the city. She previously taught English at East Side High School and served as Vice Principal at Technology High School.
