Several beaches along the Jersey Shore are either closed or under advisory because of high levels of bacteria. This was caused by excess water runoff from the recent storms.

Local officials broke ground on the new Montvale Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center on Summit Avenue. The $65 million development will feature 180 private suites and provide both long-term and short-term care.

The City of Summit congratulates Andrew Smith, who was just sworn in as councilman. Smith will fill the vacancy of Bob Pawlowski, who’s term was set to expire at the end of the year.

Legendary hip-hop duo Kid ‘N Play will be performing at Wiggins Waterfront Park in Camden on Monday. You can catch the free concert on the Roland Traynor River Stage at 8pm.
