According to a list released by U.S. News & World Report, Princeton University is the 14th best college in the world. The study evaluated nearly 2,300 schools in over 100 countries.

Hackensack officials voted unanimously to rename the intersection of Beech Street and Second Street as Gordon “Scooter” Whiting Way. Whiting, who served as head coach of the high school football team, passed away last month.

Commissioner Mauro Tucci and the Greater Nutley Cancer Foundation teamed up to host a Water Lantern Festival at Memorial Park. The event offered residents a chance to honor, remember, and celebrate all those affected by cancer.
