The emu that’s been roaming Sussex County for more than two weeks has been safely captured. The bird will now be cared for at Space Farms Zoo & Museum in Wantage.

The 49th Annual Senior Citizens Art Exhibit was held at Ocean County College in Toms River. This year, there were 130 entries representing 19 different categories, including oil paint and photography.

The Fair Lawn Fire Department has announced the passing of Life Member Michael Mullens. Mullens joined the agency in 1988 and was assigned to Engine Company #3. He served as a Lieutenant, Captain and Engineer.

Officers with the East Hanover Police Department were able to chase down and arrest two suspects who fled on foot after shoplifting from CVS.
