Burlington just opened a store at the Blue Star Shopping Center on Route 22 in Watchung. This marks the company’s 56th location in New Jersey.

PSE&G has filed a proposal to lower gas heating bills by about 5% for New Jersey residents. The move is part of the company’s strategy to buy gas prior to the colder months when demand is lower, and keep customers happy in the long-term. If approved, the change would go into effect on October 1st.

Local officials were on hand to celebrate the grand opening of the Manasquan Diner with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The restaurant is located on Route 35.

Two new basketball hoops were recently unveiled at Grandview Elementary School in Piscataway. Resident Ralph Johnson pledged a donation after 3rd-grader Brandon Booth attended a Superintendent’s Forum and spoke about how a basketball court would allow for students to be active and build friendships.
