South Orange native Kevin Spacey has settled out of court with three people who accused him of sexual abuse between 2000 and 2013. The civil trial was scheduled to take place in London this October. Spacey has denied the claims.

Emmy-winning actress Kerry Washington will be in Middletown next month to film an upcoming Netflix series called “An Innocent Girl”. Most of the filming will be in the area of Navesink River Road.

The first piece of the new roller coaster has been installed at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. The highly-anticipated ride replaces Kingda Ka, which closed in 2024. It’s expected to open in 2027.

Joe DiVincenzo announced the lineup for the 50th Annual Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival, at Branch Brook Park. Several events take place during the first three weekends in April, including a bike race, 10k run and Family Day.
