The Sherrill Administration has announced a $1.2 million plan to fix the sinkhole issue on Summit Avenue in Phillipsburg. The hole swallowed a dump truck that was on its way to make a repair last month, causing nearby residents to evacuate.

Jeanne Hengemuhle welcomed members of New Jersey State Police to the Log Cabin at Division Headquarters for a leadership meeting. This was her first command staff meeting as the agency’s Acting Superintendent.

Congratulations to Miss Megan Rooy, a teacher at Rieck Avenue Elementary School in Millville. After a tough interview process and an on-field tryout, she’s been selected as a ball girl for the Philadelphia Phillies!

The City of Newark recognized Hobby’s Delicatessen and Restaurant for its national distinction as one of the best Jewish delis in America, as named by Takeout, a national food publication. Hobby’s has been in business for over 100 years and family-owned since 1962.
