An 85-year-old man – has died after crashing his car in Hackensack. Police say he was speeding on Marvin Avenue and struck a tree, after ignoring a stop sign near Polifly Road. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A Howell man has *pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide – for an incident back in 2020. Stephen McGuire drove a UTV into a lake in Whiting while under the influence, resulting in the death of 62-year-old James Grover.

The parents of 17-year-old Maria Niotis, who was killed – while riding an e-bike in Cranford back in September, have gotten matching tattoos in their daughter’s memory. Siotis’s friend, Isabella Salas, also died in the incident.
