The individual charged with murder in the death of two teenage girls in Cranford, has been identified as 17-year-old Vincent Battiloro. Battiloro was allegedly driving 70 miles per hour as he struck the two girls on a bicycle, and had been stalking one of them in the months before the crash. Meanwhile, Westfield Police Chief Christopher Battiloro, who’s a relative of the suspect, stated he should face the consequences of his actions in a court of law.

Through the Urban Investment Fund Grant Program, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority awarded $5.7 million to help with several community revitalization projects in Camden. The funding comes as a result of the negative impact of Covid-19.

Jessica Brynildsen, who works with the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad, received a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. She was recognized for her work in the Burn Intensive Care Unit, where she helped save a young patient’s life.
