The owner of a bus company faces charges, after allegedly failing to pay $290,000 in tolls. The 57-year-old woman, of Bayonne, was issued more than 7,000 violations over the course of five years.

A 70-year-old Totowa woman was fatally struck while crossing Route 9 in Marlboro. The driver cooperated with police and faces no charges.

Headliner Oasis, a popular nightclub in Neptune Township, will be closing its doors for good on October 20th. The club will be demolished to make way for the Waterways at Neptune, a redevelopment project.

Senior Detective Kaitlin Black with the Lower Township Police Department received an award from the FBI. Black conducted an investigation in 2023 that led to the discovery of a criminal enterprise that involved more than 50 victims and $18 million stolen.
