During the month of September, Bergen Catholic High School students raised over $9,000 with the Gold Bow campaign, for pediatric cancer awareness. This was done in honor of fellow Crusader Kyle Egan, Class of 2020, who passed away at the age of 17.

The Bound Brook Police Department has announced the retirement of Chief Jason Gianotto and K9 Crusader. Gianotto served the borough for 25 years, while Crusader was with the department for 12.

Rutgers School of Nursing received the 2026 Best Schools for Men in Nursing Award, from the American Association for Men in Nursing. This marks the ninth straight year the school has earned the national honor.

The Long Branch Police Department congratulates Lieutenant Toni Gonzalez on her Retirement. Gonzalez joined the department in 1996 and held several positions during her time there. She also served in the United States Army.
