Bergen County recently held a POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony to pay tribute to the American service members who never made it home. This year, they recognized First Lieutenant William Cornelius Ryan Jr., a United States Marine Corps Reserve officer from Bogota.

The Seaside Park Police Department recently welcomed two new officers. Congratulations to Patrolmen Brian McNiel and Arcangelo Nowicki. Both graduated from the Ocean County Police Academy.

The Women’s Rights Information Center is hosting its Equine and Chocolate fundraiser on Sunday, October 11th at the Bergen Equestrian Center in Leonia. The event goes from 2 to 5pm. All proceeds will go towards women in need throughout Bergen County.
