New Jersey PBS has closed its studio in Newark. The network will shut down entirely on June 30th, when their lease expires. Their last two months of production will be done remotely.
Virtua Health just became the first health system in New Jersey to launch a Mobile Integrated Health program, bringing non-emergency care right to people’s homes. The initiative also allows paramedics to coordinate with patient’s doctors in real-time.
Local officials were at Interstate 287 in South Plainfield to dedicate the Stelton Road Bridge in honor of Vietnam Veterans and Police Officers Richard H. Conklin and William J. Cady. Both lost their lives in the line of duty in the 1970s.
Members of JCP&L helped plant nearly 200 saplings to help restore and protect the Tempe Wick Preserve in Mendham Township. The saplings were donated through the agency’s Green Teams tree program.
