This February, PEAK Performances at Montclair State University is celebrating Black History Month with a powerful and joyful work coming to the stage, I AM by Camille A. Brown & Dancers.
The performance blends modern dance, hip-hop, African and social dance with live, original music, all in an exploration of Black joy, imagination, cultural memory, and liberation.
Joining us this morning are Wiley Hausam, Director of Arts and Cultural Programming at Montclair State University’s College of the Arts, and Courtney Ross, a dancer with Camille A. Brown & Dancers, who brings this work to life on stage.
