The Wayne Valley gymnastics team wins the 2025 Passaic County Championship.

WEST MILFORD – There are new gymnastics queens in Passaic County.  Wayne Valley scored a season high 101.625 to dethrone Wayne Hills on Wednesday evening at West Milford High School, ending the Patriots’ five-year county reign.

Kylie Turco led the way for Valley, finishing in first place in the all-around with a 34.425.  She was followed by Hills’ Izabella Ortiz, who finished in second with a 33.800, and teammate Bianca Riccobono, who finished in third with a 33.550.

Wayne Hills’ Reagan Donofrio took home the vault title for the Patriots, scoring an 8.75 to lead the way on the apparatus.  Wayne Valley’s Maddie D’Alessandro and West Milford’s Madeline Park finished in a tie for second place behind Donofrio with identical 8.625 scores.

Turco, Ortiz, and Riccobono led the way on uneven bars, with Turco taking top honors with an 8.825.  Ortiz took second with an 8.625, and Riccobono rounded out the top three on bars with an 8.575.

Wayne Valley took the top two spots on the balance beam.  Turco again led the way with an 8.9.  She was followed by D’Alessandro, who finished in second with an 8.65, and Park, who finished in third with an 8.55.

West Milford’s Natalie Goodrich was the floor exercise champion, finishing with an 8.875 to win the event title.  Ortiz and Park finished in a tie for second place on the floor with matching 8.625s.

Rounding out the team scores, both Wayne Hills and West Milford also finished the meet with season-high team scores.  Hills finished in second with a 99.950 while West Milford placed third with a 97.375.  Passaic Valley finished in fourth with a 64.700.
