Governor Mikie Sherrill has signed legislation to extend early voting by four days, for regular municipal elections in May. This comes in response to Trump’s executive order to have federal agencies create lists of verified U.S. citizen voters and limit mail-in ballots.

The New Jersey Devils have parted ways with General Manager Tom Fitzgerald. The team’s co-owner David Blitzer released a statement on Monday. Fitzgerald had served in the role since 2020.

Congratulations to UConn men’s basketball coach and Jersey City native Dan Hurley, on an an incredible season. Hurley led his team to the National Championship last night, but they fell to Michigan 69 to 63.

New Jersey State Troopers rescued a bear cub on Interstate 78 in Union Township. The animal was spotted in a roadside ditch. He was taken back to headquarters and eventually transported to the Department of Environmental Protection.
