The Black Bridge in Phillipsburg is now oepn to pedestrians only, following inspection by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. A designated walkway has been set up using cones and safety fencing.

Bergen County recently added a new bus to its fleet, to accomodate seniors, veterans, and residents with limited mobility. The vehicle can fit 20 passengers and two wheelchairs. It’s funded by the Federal Transportation Authority and New Jersey Transit.

Browning Nagle, quarterback for the New York Jets in the early 90s, has passed away following a battle with cancer. Outside of the Meadowlands, Nagle is probably best remembered for his performance in the 1991 Fiesta Bowl with Louisville. He was 57 years old.

Congratulations to Rutgers University alum Chris Gotterup, who just played in his first Masters Tournament. Gotterup finished at a very respectable two under par, tying for 24th place.
