If you’re an entrepreneur and looking to spread the word about your brand, you can check out the Small Business Mixer in Jersey City on Wednesday, July 29th. The free event takes place at the Economic Development Center on Martin Luther King Drive from 5 to 7pm.

This fall, William Paterson University will integrate virtual reality into its criminal justice and social work programs, allowing students to engage in realistic training that prepares them for work in law enforcement.

Former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley will receive the inauguaral Governor Thomas H. Kean Award at the Garden State Initiative’s Gala in September. The honor reflects Bradley’s commitment to public policy and service to New Jersey residents.

The New Jersey Department of Corrections bid farewell to Senior Correctional Officer Jeffrey Weisneck, who’s retiring after 45 years. Weisneck served at the Garden State Correctional Facility, taking on several roles during that time.
