Boonton Football vs. Dumont - 9.3.2026

The Boonton rushing attack ground up yardage and the clock, while the Bomber defense made key stops when needed to help lead Boonton to a 30-22 victory over Dumont on Sept. 3, 2026.

The Bombers racked up 305 total yards on the ground, led by Josiah Chaplain III‘s 105 yards on ten carries and a touchdown.  And while he managed only eight yards and one completion through the air, Boonton quarterback Daniel Coutts added an additional 90 yards on 11 carries and one TD on the ground for the BombersJack Allen had an interception on defense for Boonton.

Myles Donald and Derek Junger led the Dumont.  Between his arm and his feet, Donald accumulated 141 yards of total offense and two touchdowns while Junger carried the ball 16 times for 100 yards for the Huskies.

With the win, Boonton improves to 2-0 on the young season and will next travel to Whippany Park to face the Wildcats next Friday, while Dumont falls to 0-1 and will host Mahwah next Thursday.
