Hackensack quarterback Brian Brancato was 16 of 21 for 156 yards and two touchdowns passing and carried the ball 11 times for 90 yards and an additional TD to lead the Comets to a 32-14 Thanksgiving Day victory over rival Teaneck.

Laron Young added 20 carries for 123 yards and a touchdown for Hackensack, while Anthony Diaz was Brancato’s favorite target catching eight passes for 75 yards and a TD.  Defensively Caleb Collins, Dalen Gandy-Everett, and Mike DiVittorio led the way for the Comets.  Collins recorded seven tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble and fumble recovery.  Gandy-Everett had a pick-six while DiVittorio made seven tackles and grabbed an interception of his own for Hackensack.

The Comets’ 2025 victory over Teaneck marks their 12th consecutive victory over the Highwaymen.  Hackensack and Teaneck finish their seasons with identical 5-5 records.
