The fourth-ranked Christian Brothers boys basketball team hoisted the Founders Cup trophy for the third season in a row, topping Red Bank Catholic 69-65 in overtime on Jan. 17, 2026.

The trio of Izayah Cooper, Avery Lynch, and Charlie Marcoullier led CBA. Cooper recorded 16 points, while Marcoullier netted 13, and Lynch added 12 to help the Colts.

For RBC, Tyler Hager, James Hankowski, and Ryan Saxton led the way. Hager led all scorers with 17 points, while Saxton added 15, and Hankowski knocked down four threes to finish the afternoon with 12 points for the Caseys.

With the win, Christian Brothers improves to 12-2 on the year while Red Bank Catholic falls to 10-3. CBA will be in action again on Tuesday when they travel to Manasquan to face the Blue Warriors, while RBC will travel to Colts Neck to face the Cougars.
