Morristown squeaked past Madison, 37-30, and No. 5 Morris Catholic downed Chatham 75-45 on Feb. 13, 2026, to advance to the 2026 Morris County Girls Basketball Tournament championship game.

Nawel Ibazatene Lefebvre scored 26 of Morristown’s 37 points to lead the Colonials.

Samantha Nielsen and Eva Bolstad led the Madison effort.  Nielson scored nine points and collected five steals, while Bolstad grabbed seven rebounds for the Dodgers.

Jacqueline Edelman and Morgan Fulston each had double-doubles for Morris Catholic.  Edelman scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Fulston recorded 10 points and hauled in 12 boards.  Jayah Curtis added an additional 12 points, and Kennedy Brown had six thefts for the Crusaders.

Ava Paone knocked down seven threes enroute to scoring 23 points for Chatham.  Paone was joined in double-digits scoring by Noelle Grady, who scored 12 points for the Cougars, all from behind the three-point arc.

Morris Catholic and Morristown will meet for the Morris County title on Feb. 21 in Jack Martin Gymnasium at the County College of Morris.
