IMAGES: No. 9 Rutgers Prep Boys Basketball Eases Into SCT Semifinals with Victory Over B-R

An all-around effort from William Brunson led Rutgers Prep to an impressive 85-58 victory over Bridgewater-Raritan in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Somerset County Boys Basketball Tournament on Feb. 7, 2026.

Brunson scored 31 points, knocked six threes, and grabbed seven rebounds for the Argonauts.  Nicolas Nsenkyire also had a good afternoon for Rutgers Prep.  He recorded 12 points, dished out nine assists, and had four thefts for the Argonauts.

With the win, Rutgers Prep will take on Montgomery in the Somerset County Tournament semifinals on Valentine’s Day at Franklin High School.
