After only maintaining a two-point lead at halftime, the Seton Hall women’s basketball team used a 30-point third quarter to blow past Providence 73-57 on Jan. 20, 2026, inside Walsh Gymnasium.

Savannah Catalon led all players with 19 points as The Hall saw four players reach double digits in scoring.  Mariana Valenzuela, Zahara Bishop, and Jordana Codio recorded 15, 12, and ten points, respectively, as the other three Pirates to score in double figures.

Valenzuela also grabbed eight rebounds, and Catalon had four thefts to add to the Seton Hall effort.

With the win, the Pirates improve to 14-5 (8-2 Big East) and remain tied for second in the conference standings with Villanova.  The Hall will next host the top-ranked and Big East-leading Connecticut Huskies on Saturday.
