Jets Win Big in Cincinnati
First and foremost, ONNJ Sports extends our sincerest condolences to the family of legendary Jets center Nick Mangold, who passed away on October 25, 2025, due to complications from kidney disease.
Calm, Cool and Collected
The Justin Fields–led Jets visited the Joe Flacco–led Bengals in what turned into an offensive shootout that nobody saw coming. And in true New York fashion, the win didn’t come easy.
Down 38–24 with just 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Gang Green showed some resolve. Finally. Fueled by smart play-calling, a calm quarterback, and a sense of “enough is enough.”
A 26-yard touchdown run by Breece Hall and a two-point conversion put the Jets within striking distance but it all came down to whether the defense could finally hold its ground for the last seven minutes of football.
And then, on a perfectly timed trick play, Fields connected with tight end Mason Taylor for the go-ahead touchdown. Fittingly, it happened on National Tight End’s Day.
Credit to Head Coach Aaron Glenn, whose calm, cool, and collected demeanor helped steady the ship. After seven straight losses, the Jets finally looked composed and capable when it mattered most.
While critics were quick to question Glenn’s ability to lead this team, Sunday proved what some of us already knew: he’s more than qualified to implement his system and bring the Jets back to life.
For now, the Jets will jet into their bye week as winners but all eyes will be on their return to MetLife stadium on November 9, 2025, when they face the Cleveland Browns.
