Jordynn Dudley’s strong September has earned the Gotham FC forward her second NWSL Rookie of the Month award of the 2026 season.
Dudley was named the league’s Rookie of the Month for September after starting all four of Gotham FC’s matches during the month.
Dudley scored twice during September, with both goals coming in Gotham FC’s 2-1 victory over the North Carolina Courage on Sept. 19. The performance marked the first brace of her professional career, with her second goal coming in second-half stoppage time to give Gotham FC the victory.
The rookie also started Gotham FC’s matches against Denver Summit FC, Racing Louisville FC and Chicago Stars FC as the club went (3-1) during the month.
The honor marks Dudley’s second Rookie of the Month award this season after she previously received the recognition in April. She becomes the second player in Gotham FC history to win the award twice, joining Jenna Nighswonger.
Dudley has continued to play an important role for Gotham FC throughout her rookie season. She has four regular-season goals and three assists.
With Gotham FC continuing its pursuit of the NWSL Shield, Dudley’s latest honor adds another milestone to an impressive first professional season.
