A new clean-energy project in our region is turning everyday waste into a renewable resource, while cutting harmful emissions and helping power local communities. SJI Renewable Energy Ventures has partnered with Atlantic County Utilities Authority on a Renewable Natural Gas project designed to capture landfill gas and convert it into usable energy.
The initiative is being hailed as a major step forward for sustainability in South Jersey and across New Jersey, reducing methane emissions, supporting homes and businesses with cleaner fuel, and positioning the region as a leader in innovative energy solutions.
Joining us now is Chet Benham, Senior Vice President and President of SJI Renewable Energy Ventures.
