What started with one young musician’s idea has grown into a youth-led initiative bringing live music into healthcare settings across New Jersey. Through Arturo Healing Hearts, middle and high school musicians perform for patients, families, healthcare workers, veterans, and seniors, creating moments of comfort and connection. The program recently completed a pilot with Hackensack Meridian Health and is now expanding through new school chapters and healthcare partnerships. Joining us is Ava Silva Costa, Founder of Arturo Healing Hearts, to tell us how music became her way of giving back.
