Back to School with Dave Ellis from the NJ Department of Children

Kids may be facing anxiety and uncertainty as they head back to the classroom, and some students may be returning to school with anxiety, grief, and gaps in social skills. These Adverse childhood experiences — known as ACEs, are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood. To help, the organization, Actions 4 ACEs is launching a back-to-school campaign, #TraumaTools: Promoting Healing, Recovery, and Wellness this School Year. Joining us to talk about this is Dave Ellis – the Executive Director for the Office of Resilience within the NJ Department of Children and Families.
