Ryan DePersio is one of New Jersey’s most recognizable chefs and restaurateurs, known for creating some of the region’s most popular dining destinations, including Battello, Kitchen Step, Ember & Eagle, TillingHouse, and Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport. Now he’s preparing to open his newest concept, Barchino, a pizza-focused restaurant. All this while also training to run the New York City Marathon in support of Jar of Hope, a charity dedicated to funding research for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
