Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men, and here in New Jersey, the numbers are especially concerning. The state has the highest incidence rate in the country, with thousands of new cases diagnosed each year. While early detection can save lives, many men are still not getting screened, often due to out-of-pocket costs and limited access. Now, advocates are pushing for new legislation that could remove those barriers and make screening more accessible for high-risk individuals.

Joining us now are Shakilya Carpenter and Quinton Law from the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network to discuss why this issue is so important.
