Empty Promises: Empty Sky Memorial Remains Unfinished

On September 11th we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including the 749 New Jersey residents remembered at the Empty Sky Memorial in Liberty State Park. But nearly 15 years later, parts of the memorial remain unfinished and in disrepair. With next year marking the 25th anniversary, will this monument finally be restored with the dignity it deserves?
