With the FIFA World Cup bringing global attention to our region, communities across New Jersey are finding creative ways to celebrate while creating lasting opportunities for residents. This weekend, Elizabeth will host Game On! Culture Fest, a free, family-friendly event combining soccer, live entertainment, cultural performances, workforce resources, and community engagement. Joining us this morning are Crystal A. Orr, President and CEO of the Urban League of Union County, and Curtis Myers, Jr., Deputy Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the City of Elizabeth, to tell us how this exciting event is bringing the spirit of the World Cup to Union County.
