The road to the FIFA World Cup is coming to communities across the Garden State!
Two of New Jersey’s largest cities — Jersey City and Newark — are joining the official “Flag Cities” fan festival series, bringing World Cup celebrations directly to local streets. The initiative, presented with support from Goya Foods, will feature entertainment, fan experiences, and opportunities for local businesses to take part in the economic boost expected during the tournament.
The announcement was made during a press conference hosted by the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, where regional leaders highlighted how these festivals will help communities engage with the global excitement surrounding the tournament.

Tickets will be available beginning in early April and include event access, entertainment, and on-site experiences. A limited number of VIP tickets with additional amenities will also be available, while some events may be free to attend.
Flag Cities Schedule:• June 12 (5–11 PM) – Columbus Drive, Jersey City• June 14 (11 AM–7 PM) – Overpeck Park, Bergen County• June 21 (11 AM–6 PM) – Laurel Hill Park, Secaucus• June 24 (4–9 PM) – Mulberry Plaza, Newark• June 26 (5–11 PM) – Downtown East Rutherford
