Helping Ellie Cooper

June 11, 2026

A New Jersey family is receiving an outpouring of support as they work to provide greater mobility and independence for their young daughter. Three-year-old Ellie Cooper of Boonton is living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, and while a wheelchair-accessible van would make a tremendous difference in her daily life, the vehicle is not covered by insurance. To help bridge that gap, family, friends, and community members have rallied around Ellie through fundraising efforts with Help Hope Live, already raising thousands of dollars toward their goal. Ellie’s mom, Stephanie Hoffman-Cooper, and Ellie herself joins the show to share their story and talk about an upcoming community fundraiser.
