A Bergen County musician and philanthropist is using the power of music to spread a message of kindness around the world. Ken Freirich, founder of the band Random Acts of Kindness, wrote and executive produced the song “I Wish,” a heartfelt anthem encouraging compassion, empathy, and human connection. The song recently gained international attention after being recorded by the African Children’s Choir, with the accompanying video generating millions of views online and reaching listeners around the world.

Beyond the music itself, Freirich says the project is part of a larger global kindness initiative designed to inspire positive change through community outreach, charitable giving, and youth engagement.
