Italian American One Voice Coalition Form New Alliance
On Columbus Day 2025, Italian American communities across the country welcomed President Trump’s proclamation reaffirming the second Monday in October as Columbus Day, a move some say aims to reclaim the explorer’s legacy of faith, courage, and perseverance. In response, the Italian American One Voice Coalition has formed a new alliance with the Native American Guardians Association (NAGA) to build bridges rather than deepen divides.
