A California man was convicted on stalking charges, after repeatedly threatening a New Jersey judge. 36-year-old Jonathan Lipman sent about 400 emails to the judge, after he was barred from owning a gun.

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Newark. 48-year-old Gregory Williams was entering Interstate 78 from Routes 1&9, when his car left the road and struck a tree. He died at the hospital.

Congratulations to Ocean County Sheriff’s Cadet Jamie Popek, who recently received the this year’s Guidance Association Scholarship. Popek will be graduating from Manchester High School next month and plans to enroll in the United States Coast Guard.

The Camden County Board of Commissioners gathered in Blackwood to celebrate the opening of the Mary Ann Wardlow Center for Community Nutrition. The facility will help assemble and distribute home-delivered meals for the community.
