An eight-foot Burmese Python was found in a resident’s backyard in Freehold. The snake was taken to the Monmouth County SPCA for safekeeping. An X-Ray revealed it had just eaten an opossum.

Local residents came to Windward Beach in Brick Township, to check out dozens of classic rides during the 21st annual SummerFest Car Show. The event was hosted by Brick PBA #230.

Monmouth Medical Center recently welcomed this year’s Project SEARCH interns. The ten-month program provides job-training to local high school students and young adults with disabilities.

Congratulations to the Middletown Minors ten-year-olds on winning the Mason Invitational Tournament championship. The team finished with a perfect 6-and-0 record, with walk-off win over Howell South.
