ShopRite is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary with a specal two-week sale event at stores across New Jersey. This includes a three-day super sale and digital coupons. Many of the prices will end in 75 cents to honor the occasion.

The New York Jets Foundation just launched the Jets EmpowHER Fundraiser. The online initiative gives fans a chance to support girls flag football and win exclusive Jets experiences and autographed memorabilia. The fundraiser runs through next Friday.

The Bergen Performing Arts Center is hosting New York Times bestselling authors Raina Telgemeier and Gale Galligan for a special book discussion, celebrating The Baby-Sitters Club. It takes place on Sunday, September 20th at 2pm. All attendees will receive a copy of “Baby-Sitters on Board”.

Patricia Teffenhart was recently named chief of staff of the New Jersey Department of Children and Families. Teffenhart has dedicated her career to helping those affected by sexual assault and violence.
