A man working out at Planet Fitness in Elizabeth was killed, after a car drove through the front of the building. The driver, a 69-year-old woman, was injured after the airbags deployed. Officials are investigating the incident. Following an investigation, an Egg Harbor Township man was charged with fatally striking a teenager back in May. The 71-year-old was speeding on Delaware Avenue, when he hit the 13-year-old. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. A Reunification Dinner was held at the Claridge Hotel, to honor those who took part in Atlantic City’s Reentry Services program. The initiative allows inmates to turn their lives around through steady employment. Kean University’s Liberty Hall hosted the launch of New Jersey Transit’s ‘Jersey Journeys’ campaign. The campaign celebrates the nation’s 250th anniversary next year, and includes an interactive map that explores over 150 historic sites and landmarks throughout the state.
