We love spotlighting educators who are making a difference far beyond the classroom, and this morning, we’re joined by one of New Jersey’s own.

Dr. Angello Villarreal, known by his students and community simply as “Profe,” is a teacher at Freehold Township High School and the RAISE Academy, a Fulbright Scholar, and one of The Educator’s Room’s Top 50 Educators Around the World.

Born and raised in Peru, now a proud New Jersey educator and father of three, Profe is preparing for a global classroom experience this summer in Uruguay through a U.S. Department of State–sponsored Fulbright program, bringing New Jersey education onto the world stage and back again.
