Officials are investigating an alleged ICE-involved shooting in Roxbury. Police say Landing Road was closed from Shippenport Road to Lakeside Boulevard. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Congressman Josh Gottheimer and Senator Cory Booker were in Paramus to introduce legislation that would make school buses safer, including three-point seat belts and background checks for drivers. The decision comes after a Paramus student was killed in a bus crash in 2018.

Immaculata High School in Somerville welcomes their new Head Coach of Girls’ Lacrosse, Jessica Shaver. The Pennsylvania native previously played for four years at Lycoming {lye-CUMM-ing} College.

Edwyn Edwards has been hired as the new head football coach at William Paterson University. Edwards most recently served as the defensive coordinator at The College of New Jersey, for seven years.
