The New Jersey Department of Corrections launched a new initiative to strengthen reentry support for incarcerated veterans. Through the program, they would be connected to several helpful services, including VA benefits, legal assistance, employment readiness and housing resources.

The Bernards Township Police Department recently welcomed Officer Chris DeBiasse to the team. DiBiasse previously served with the Long Hill Township Police Department.

Immaculata High School in Somerville congratulates Jack Cust, class of 1997. The former Major League ballplayer is being inducted into the NJSIAA Hall of Fame, during a ceremony in Princeton, on Sunday, March 29th.

The North Wildwood Police Department has announced the passing of Retired Detective Fred Schmidt. Schmidt served the agency from 1966 until 1991. In addition to working as a detective, he served in the patrol unit and as a K-9 officer.
