A government contractor from Cherry Hill has been charged with possession of child pornography. 50-year-old Robert Cormier was arrested back on June 13th. He also faces drug charges and weapons offenses.

38-year-old Gustavo Juarez-Perez was indicted on murder charges and weapons offenses in the death of his wife, 30-year-old Cheyanne Juarez. Police found her on the floor with a belt around her neck at a home on Hummel Drive, back in March.

Local officials helped celebrate the grand opening of the newly-renovated Head Start facility in Dover. It’s now called the Susan O’Donnell Head Start Headquarters, honoring the facility’s longtime executive director.

Construction has begun on the Chelsea Bulkhead Replacement Project in Atlantic City. The $8.5 million project includes replacing public bulkheads from Albany Avenue to Morris Avenue, restoring sidewalks and planting trees.
