Seven juveniles were burned after a flash fire erupted from a fire pit in Berkeley Township. It happened at a home on North Trenton Avenue. Three of the victims were treated at the hospital and released, while the others refused medical attention.

A Freehold man is accused of grooming ten juveniles while he was a manager for Salad Works and Wendy’s in Pennsylvania. 33-year-old Richard Brooks was taken to the Bucks County Prison.

The Woodcliff Lake Fire Department has announced the passing of Honorary Member Paul Bechtel. Bechtel served as Fire Official for over two decades and was known for his giving nature, leading the annual Fire Prevention Open House and supporting fundraisers.

Local officials gathered for a ribbon-cutting and plaque-unveiling ceremony, marking the completion of the new municipal building in Boonton. An official dedication ceremony is planned for the spring.
