Local officials were on hand to cut the ribbon on Green Lane Park in Union Township. The park takes inspiration from the nearby woods, with natural playground equipment, forest trails and a wooden pavilion.

Congratulations to Barnes Blake, winner of the 125th New Jersey Golf Amateur Championship, presented by Provident Bank. Blake captured his second title in as many years with a score of 12 under par. The tournament was held at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield.

Morris County Commissioners recently approved nearly $5 million in grants from the county’s Preservation Trust Fund. The money will be put towards restoring and protecting 35 historic projects in 20 municipalities.

Wilson Paes, an incoming senior at Delbarton School, has been named the 2026 New York City Teen of Impact by the American Heart Association. The honor recognizes his leadership in raising awareness and critical funds to fight cardiovascular disease.
