One man was killed and another was injured following a shooting in Trenton. The two victims were found with bullet wounds on the 600 block of North Clinton Avenue. 43-year-old Shalynn Richardson was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Officials are investigating, after seven geese were struck and killed during a hit-and-run in Spotswood. It happened off Devoe Avenue, near Devoe Lake. Police are unsure if the driver hit the birds intentionally.

Cherry Hill held its first Senior Ice Cream Social with 200 residents in attendance. Several local officials, including Mayor Fleischer, were at the event, while the Libby Spencer Tap Dancers provided entertainment.

Governor Phil Murphy and other local leaders helped break ground on the new Essex-Hudson Greenway in Newark. The project will convert a former rail corridor into a nine-mile park through eight communities.
