In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center is opening a new exhibition that explores the relationships between the Yankees legend and past presidents. It will remain open until September 13th.

The playground at Monte Irvin Park in Orange has been upgraded with new equipment, including water features and a rubberized safety surface. Better Future founder Ashton Roberts also contributed, by donating several chess tables.

Rutgers Law student Portia Muehlbauer will represent New Jersey at the Miss US International Pageant in Philadelphia next week. She’ll be advocating for disability awareness while highlighting the impact of service animals.

Congratulations to Bergen Catholic’s alum Carsten Sabathia, son of Hall of Famer CC Sabathia, on being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 20th round of the Major League Baseball Draft. Following high school, Sabathia continued his career at Georgia Tech and the University of Houston.
