Police are investigating after a man walked into a Montclair 7-Eleven with a gun. The suspect entered the store on Bloomfield Avenue requesting to pick up a mobile order. After an employee asked to see confirmation, the suspect showed the weapon, grabbed the order and fled.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center says a bottlenose dolphin washed up on the beach in Deal. The animal suffered several shark bites and had to be euthanized. This marks the 110th case the center has handled this year.

Rutgers placekicker Jai Patel has been nominated for the 2025 Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team. The honor recognizes college football players who make an impact in their communities.

Kean University Athletics held their annual golf outing at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth. The event, funded by numerous sponsors, raises money for the school’s sports programs.
